Dian Sitip Meechai

Dian Sitip Meechai is a professional singer, dancer, contortionist, and dance teacher -- previous clients include Facebook, SEGA, Silversea Cruises and TrapezeWorld.

Born in the "Boogie Down" Bronx, its no wonder music and dance would be her calling. From her earliest days, Dian aspired to perform and would sing in her room to an audience of cute penguins. As a teenager she traded in her piano lessons for voice lessons, and broadened her audiences to include people. Dian continued to perform through her undergrad years at Northwestern University. Although an engineering major, she had a music minor in Vocal Performance and competed with NU's DanceSport team.

In the past few years Dian took a break from singing to focus on her other talents in contortion and dance. Music was never far from her ears though, and just over a year ago she found her love of dance re-inspiring her voice. She kicked off 2012 overseas as a production cast singer onboard the Silver Spirit cruise ship. By the end of 2013, Dian released her debut album "Stormy Weather," a celebratory blend of Christmas music, jazz standards and classical arias.

This brunette -- who sings, boogies, bends and feels like a misfit most of the time, is anxious to see what 2014 brings.
